Secret Forest L.A.'s monthly workshops invite you to slow down, make something with your hands, and simply be. We welcome all kinds of minds here and need a soft place to land, breathe and create. There's no pressure to socialize, perform, or be anything other than exactly who you are. Come to create, come to decompress, come to lose yourself in the making. Whether you're a seasoned maker or trying something new for the very first time, there's a place at the table for you. Come with a friend, leave with a new one — or simply come as you are.

What to Expect: Fairy House Building

Each workshop is guided, materials-inclusive, and set inside the forest itself

Please plan to arrive on time — or better yet, a little early. Many of our workshops are designed to use the full session from start to finish, and jumping in late means missing foundational steps that are difficult to catch up on mid-project.

We also invite you to arrive early and give yourself the gift of a quiet wander through the forest before the workshop begins. Shed the stress of the drive, breathe it all in, and let the forest do what it does best — slow you down and open you up. The space is yours from 2pm onward on workshop days.

The forest opens at 2:00pm · Workshop seating opens at 6:30pm · Creative session begins by 6:45pm

What to Bring: JARS, BAUBBLES and nature

Bring a recycled jar- Glass or Plastic- no bigger than 14 oz (i.e.- olive jar, water bottle, pickle jar) Washed with a LID and NO label is best.

Bring mix matched items- upcycling items- ( i.e.- broken jewelry, fairy attracting items, found items in nature)

A Few Things That Make Our Workshops a Little Different

We believe creativity flourishes when people feel both free and responsible. Our workshops are self-directed spaces — we guide the craft, but we ask each guest to care for their materials, their workspace, and themselves. Please come ready to engage, create, and tidy up after yourself. We're not a traditional class — we're a creative community, and that means we all take care of the space together.

Age Groups & Workshop Types

Our workshops are designed for specific audiences — please read each listing carefully before registering. Not every workshop is right for every age, and that's intentional. We want every guest to feel comfortable and in their element.

• Ages 8+ — open to older children accompanied with a participating adult

• Teen LAB — designed specifically for ages 13–17

• Adult LAB — 18 and older only
